We learned about magnetic force. We know opposite poles attract and two poles that are the same repel each other. We used lots of different kinds of magnets to predict and test which materials were magnetic. We used a chart to keep track of the answers. Paper clips and metal spoons are magnetic. Seashells and plastic animals are not. The beads on a bracelet were not magnetic, but the metal they were strung on was. The handle of scissors was not magnetic, but the blades were. The bracelet and the scissors were on both the Magnetic and Not Magnetic sides of the chart!
